Strict Covid protocols for the construction of wind farms in the North Sea

SeaMade is being built in the port of Ostend. It is the largest wind energy farm in the Belgian North Sea. Mid-October, 39 of the 58 planned wind turbines had already been installed. A courageous deed, because the works are being performed during the corona crisis. The project management has spread the activities over different locations in order to reduce the risk of contamination. For this same reason, the crew of the specialized installation ships will stay on board longer. Of course, all players are strictly observing the safety measures in order to meet the intended deadline (end of this year).
