Eighty-nine percent of companies find new applications complex according to State of Observability, a recent report from VMware

Almost all respondents to the study indicated that monitoring a cloud application environment is a major challenge. They said that in comparison with last year, problems with visibility and insight have increased significantly. That’s why almost all respondents felt that their organization would benefit from better observability options.

Observability is technology that helps you to understand what is happening with applications in the various layers or your network and why. To gain insight into critical interdependencies between application workloads and IT infrastructure, organizations are increasingly turning to observability solutions.
