Ieperband needed a new camera system for their facilities to enhance security and control. In addition, their existing network infrastructure required an upgrade as the switches had reached end-of-life and end-of-service.
e-BO Enterprises draws innovation to the Westhoek with expansion of private 5G network.
e-BO Enterprises zet zijn schouders onder verschillende innovatieve 5G-projecten in de Westhoek in het kader van een Europees CEF 5G for Smart Communities project onder de noemer Flanders Smart Fields. e-BO zal daarin de verantwoordelijkheid voor de technische uitrol van een private 5G-netwerk opnemen en zorgen voor de integratie van innovatieve toepassingen. Hiervoor is een consortium opgezet met de POM West-Vlaanderen en het Jan Yperman ziekenhuis waar verschillende pilootprojecten onderzocht en opgestart zullen worden. 5G betekent sneller en stabieler mobiel internet, waardoor nieuwe toepassingen mogelijk worden, wat van de Westhoek een van de eerste volledig slim geconnecteerde regio’s in Vlaanderen maakt.
Better connectivity through outdoor WiFi and SD-WAN
Galloo Group is a leader in ecological recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, but their connectivity could use an update. e-BO Enterprises provided smoother and more secure communication with an outdoor WiFi network and an SD-WAN.
